In February of 2018, Joseph Vrenick and Tanner Richard Craft had an idea for something big: they'd start a production company of their own, here in Saint Louis. They'd call themselves "The Bomb Squad", after a line from a Spider-Man videogame

Tanner listed the name on the poster of several of his independent projects as a joke, but the idea otherwise lay dormant.

Fast forward to Janruary of 2021. Family Video was going out of business and as one last goodbye, Tanner wanted to make a video paying respects to the video store one last time. He needed a team - someone who could shoot, edit, and produce. He assembled the dream team - nine other Webster University Alumni - and the Bomb Squad was born!
